Founded in Rio de Janeiro in 1870, Granado Pharmácias is the most traditional cosmetics and medicines company in Brazil. By manipulating extracts from plants and herbs grown on the small farm of its founder, the Portuguese José Antonio Coxito Granado, the apothecary soon won illustrious clients such as D. Pedro II. This deep knowledge about the properties of medicinal plants is, until today, the basis for the development of new products.
With more than 80 concept stores and distribution in the country's main sales point, Granado is present in the home and in the memory of every Brazilian. Abroad, the brand has three stores in Paris, a virtual store that serves the entire European territory and the United States, in addition to being present in selected points of sale.
Granado has always been committed to social and environmental responsibility. In addition to being the first Brazilian company to use vegetable fat in the production of soaps, it was also one of the pioneers to ban the use of parabens in products. Among other commitments, the packaging is 100% recycled and no products are tested on animals.
